The Chartered Financial Analyst® designation is a professional certification that is considered by many to be the gold standard in the investment industry. The designation is conferred by the CFA® Institute, a global organization of more than 100,000 financial professionals dedicated to ensuring high educational, ethical, and professional standards. CFA® charterholders must complete extensive educational training and pass three levels of exams covering areas such as ethics, economics, and security analysis.
